Kayley Fox, LSW is a master’s level social worker, licensed in the state of Ohio. Kayley earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Science, also from The Ohio State University. Kayley has a background working with children and families in various settings, including foster care, housing instability, and youth day treatment services. She is skilled in connecting with young children but has a passion for providing therapy to people of all ages, including people with various disabilities. Additional areas of focus are PTSD, trauma survivors, phobias, anxiety, depression, complex family dynamics, codependency and enmeshment issues, caregiver fatigue, and young adults facing life changes.

Kayley’s approach to therapy is evidence-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed. When it comes to specific approaches, Kayley engages children and individuals with cognitive disabilities in client-directed play therapy. Play is the natural language of children and is a vital tool in their therapeutic healing process. Kayley utilizes MI, CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches with other clients based on their assessed needs. She also employs exposure therapy for individuals struggling with phobias, OCD, and anxiety.

Kayley offers in-office sessions Sunday through Thursday with some evening availability. Kayley also offers virtual counseling services to individuals 18 and older on most weekdays.

Outside of work, Kayley enjoys reading, creating art, biking, gardening and playing with her dog, Honey.
