Jaret Wiblin, LPC

 Jaret's approach to therapy is a collaborative journey where the client and therapist work together authentically to address the client's goals and needs. He believes that the essence of human nature is to continually move towards growth in positive ways. Jaret seeks to empower you on your journey to radical self-acceptance through practicing nonjudgmental support and helping you find meaning in your story. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Psychology and Legal Studies from the University of Cincinnati and his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Ohio State University.

Jaret uses a holistic framework to address each client’s individual needs. He primarily utilizes interventions from Person-Centered, Attachment, DBT, ACT, and Humanistic orientations. Jaret recently received training in exposure therapy through ERP for both anxiety and OCD and is excited to utilize this training with his clients. He has experience treating a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self esteem, gender, body image, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ issues and OCD.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Jaret believes in taking a progressive, nonjudgmental approach to counseling people from all walks of life. Jaret believes that intentionally choosing kindness, both towards ourselves and others, is a radical act of self-compassion. Jaret lives in the Columbus area with his partner, Sam.
