Adult ADHD Testing
At Keller Counseling and Associates, we offer Adult (18+) ADHD testing that can help you better understand your brain, harness your unique strengths, and thrive in your personal, academic, and/or professional life. If you’ve felt different or struggled when it comes to focus, time management, or organization, you’re not alone. ADHD impacts many adults, and discovering how your brain operates can open up new possibilities for growth and success.
Is ADHD Testing right for you?
Living with undiagnosed ADHD can feel overwhelming. You might have experienced:
Difficulty concentrating - this may look like periods of intense focus mixed with challenges staying on the task at hand, potentially reducing productivity and causing frustration
Impulsivity and poor decision-making - you may act impulsively at times without considering consequences, which might lead to strained relationships, legal or financial issues, and/or feelings of shame
Restlessness or hyperactivity - when not engaged in stimulating activities, you may have trouble relaxing and feeling calm
Difficulty with executive functioning and time management - you might feel like meeting conventional expectations around planning or organization can be a struggle, but may thrive in environments that allow flexibility and creativity
Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) - you may experience sensitivity to rejection or criticism, which could impact personal and professional relationships
Low self-esteem - challenges associated with ADHD symptoms can often erode self-esteem over time, leading to feelings of inadequacy
With the help of your clinician, you can better understand these differences and take the first steps towards discovering tools and strategies that align with your strengths.
Our Approach to ADHD Testing
We celebrate neurodiversity and provide compassionate Adult ADHD evaluations that are strengths-focused and honor the unique ways in which neurodivergent brains function. Our process includes:
A comprehensive clinical assessment involving multiple sessions with a clinician trained in ADHD assessment, as well as self-report diagnostic measures and observations from others familiar with your routines and behaviors.
A personalized written report including testing results and recommendations for moving forward whether that involves therapy, additional testing, or strategies to accommodate your neurotype in order to overcome obstacles and lead a fulfilling life.
ADHD testing is billed at an out-of-pocket flat rate of $900, with payment due at the time of the first session. The testing process is typically completed in 2-3 one hour long sessions.
