Lisa Longo, PhD, LPCC is a professional clinical counselor who has been with Keller Counseling since 2014. She received her Master and Doctor of Philosphy degrees in Counselor Education from the Ohio State University, where she conducted research related to violence between intimate partners. Lisa’s previous training includes a clinical practicum at a middle and high school setting and a clinical internship at a college counseling center. Lisa works with individuals aged 12 and older, as well as couples. She is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and mood disorders, as well as a host of general mental health concerns as family/relationship issues, grief/loss, and other major life stressors. Lisa believes that therapy is a collaborative process in which the therapist and client work together to create change. Lisa takes a person-centered approach and utilizes techniques and interventions that are rooted in cognitive behavioral and interpersonal treatment modalities. Lisa has stepped into a role as Associate Director of Training for Keller Counseling, and is building an internship program for students in Counselor Education programs in the state of Ohio.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys cooking meals with her spouse, taking her dogs to the park, and exploring new places in Columbus and the surrounding areas.
