Chey Harrington, LPCC

Chey Harrington, LPCC is a licensed professional clinical counselor currently working with Melissa in clinical supervision. Chey graduated from the Ohio State University with her Master’s in Counselor Education. She completed her clinical internship at OSU Harding Hospital where she worked with adults in the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs providing individual and group cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, family diagnosis and treatment education, relapse prevention, and discharge planning services. She is experienced in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, major life stressors, family and relationship issues, occupational/educational stressors, and adjustment disorders with specialty training in postpartum adjustment. Chey gravitates towards a client-centered approach by focusing on meeting the client where they are and providing a safe space for clients to explore their authentic selves. She practices techniques from a variety of therapeutic orientations including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and insight-oriented therapy while focusing on overall wellness with an emphasis on resiliency and mindfulness practices.


In Chey's spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and traveling. Chey is currently available to see clients on  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the daytime.
